Dot Peen marking equipment, often referred to as pin stamp marking, is a permanent, direct part marking process using a carbide pin to indent the marking surface to form continuous lines, logos and 2D Data Matrix bar codes. Simple programming options via the system controller allows for direct-part marking of traceability information such as: date codes, serialization, operator and work station identification. The controller can operate either in a stand-alone capacity (no PC required) or can be easily integrated into a factory automation environment. MC2000 Superfast
The MC2000 Superfast is the fastest, most reliable compact dot peen marking system available today. The premier system for direct part marking, the MC2000 Superfast is designed to meet short marking cycle times on production lines. Unlike other pin stamp marking equipment, the MC2000 Superfast utilizes a patented Y axis slide design for achieving faster marking times. The rugged simplicity of the MC2000 Superfast enables integrated dot peen marking up to 16 characters per second, depending upon the character size. The compact marking head permits integration of the marking equipment into small, confined areas and provides easier mounting to pneumatic approach slides. With 3 available marking heads, the MC2000 Superfast is capable of deep, continuous line marking on a variety of material including: Steel (forgings, castings, plate, carbon and stainless- up to 62Hrc), Aluminum (forgings, castings, extrusions, plate) and Molded Plastic.

The MC2000 Superfast Bench-Top with an adjustable height feature is the most rugged column and base marker available today. These single pin stamp markers are designed for deep, fast marking – especially when readability after painting, galvanizing or plating is critical. Its patented Y axis slide design enables dot peen marking up to 16 characters per second, depending upon the character size.

The computer-controlled tag feed marking system is a totally automated system for marking tags up to 150 mm in length on the standard units. Customized machines can be ordered for extremely large tags. The tag feeder is equipped with an adjustable loading rack, which can be quickly readjusted for a wide range of tag sizes. Standard machine accommodates tag size of minimum .5mm thick, 15 mm to 75 mm wide and 20 mm to 105 mm long.

The MC-2000 plate feed system is equipped to mark in both manual and automatic modes. The manual mode gives you the ability to perform any one of the tag system functions through a series of push buttons located on the front of the machine. By simply moving the selector switch to the manual mode you can now move the pusher bar forward to check for clearance in the systems rails or mark a single tag to check mark location and quality of mark.
